This position reports to our Worldwide Sales and Marketing Manager, in Round Rock, TX.
Duties and Responsibilities
Managing both a territory of named U.S. accounts and also the sales cycle from end-to-end such that you are directly responsible for helping DataMax Group, Inc. exceed its revenue goals. Some of the ways you will do this include but are not limited to: coordinating and closing complex enterprise solution sales into multi-functional organizations; building client relationships and value; uncovering client goals and pains in merchandising; understanding client requirements for merchandising systems in the areas of Back Office, Category Management, and Price Book; and demonstrating DataMax’s capability to best meet those goals and requirements while proposing, nurturing and closing solution sales.
Requirements
- 5+ years demonstrated success in regularly exceeding quotas for enterprise, large-scale retail software sales to the c-store, grocery, food, or CPG industry.
- Excellence in proposal development, verbal communications and written correspondence.
- Computer proficiency is crucial, as sometimes you will be required to demonstrate solutions and use internal and some prospect systems competently.
- Travel requisite to meeting clients on-site for demonstrating and presenting solutions, and for negotiating and closing as appropriate.
