Envoy is our industry leading Back Office and Home Office management system for large convenience retailing operations. We are seeking two Envoy Implementation Consultants. The postions are in located in Round Rock, Texas and Miami, Florida.
As an Envoy Implementation Consultant you will be focused on the delivery and implementation of our Envoy solution. You will develop deep technical or functional skills in Envoy that will be used in performing these tasks. Envoy skills are NOT a requirement for this position, but are preferred.
You will be part of one or multiple teams that will utilize your problem-solving skills to develop and implement Envoy solutions for our clients. You will be part of a project team that will be defined and organized according to the skills and experience required for the implementation. You should be familiar with software implementation and structured implementation methodologies. We may also ask you to play a project management role for smaller clients and projects.
The Envoy Implementation Consultant will spend the majority of their time executing tasks related to client delivery. Most of this client time will be focused on detailed project tasks. A portion of client time will be spent on project management tasks. Consulting work will be primarily performed at our client sites. Some amount of overnight travel (approximately 50% to 75%) is inherent in any consulting business and is required of our team members.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Perform business requirements analysis and design
- Perform gap analysis between Envoy functionality and client's requirements
- Lead project teams through design workshops and Conference Room Pilot (CRP) environments
- Identify and recommend product customizations, enhancements or work-around solutions to meet client requirements
- Train users in the use of Envoy and its new business processes
- Manage individual budget and scope of work
- Work with the sales organization in the business development cycle and assist with Envoy sales demonstrations
- Create test plans and conduct testing
- Create client-specific implementation documentation
- Assist with the coordination of engineering deliverables requiring good communication and teaming skills
- Understands product capabilities
- Provide knowledge transfer and training of configuration and back office administration to the customer
- Product configuration per roles and responsibilities matrix
- Timely completion of project tasks

- Requirements
- Experience with business application software implementations including configuring product to design specifications, creating and executing test plans
- Financial software implementation experience preferred
- Ability to troubleshoot
- Functional understanding of relational databases required (SQL)
- Familiar with basic operations of MS SQL Server and Oracle databases
- Practical understanding of general accounting

Education, Certifications, and Experience Required
- 4-year degree in Business, Accounting, MIS or equivalent preferred
- Functional knowledge of accounting, finance, budgeting, banking, etc.
- Systems implementation background
- Travel is required for this position
