DataMax Announces Release of Envoy v7
New version of Envoy takes advantage of Microsoft’s .Net framework and SQL Server 2008 database to provide many new features and enhanced performance
Round Rock, TX – USA – March 1, 2011 DataMax is pleased to announce the release of its’ latest product, Envoy Global Retail Manager, v7. This latest version of Envoy GRM leverages Microsoft’s .Net framework and has been completely rewritten in the C# language. It takes advantage of Microsoft’s SQL Server 2008 database to further enhance the performance and features of the product as well as includes DataMax’s unique rapid application development architecture to speed future development.
New features include:
• New reporting engine that radically improves speed and flexibility
• End user report designer for your own customized reports
• Receive automated reports via email
• End user alert and exception designer to identify any data exception
• Receive customizable exception alerts via text and/or email
• Unified login with multiple company databases
• Faster POS interfaces with enhanced error detection and recovery
• New user menus
• New user definable menus
• New desktop widgets to show key information based on user configuration
• New Envoy services to schedule report delivery, emails, etc.
• Improved security via built in ftp service for secure transfer of data from trading partners
• 140+ existing feature improvements or enhancements
